Stock, aluminum lightweight flywheel, and now the billet steel flywheel from Southbend. I only replaced my clutch to support the new turbos. Prior to going to the Southbend Stage 4 OFE with billet steel flywheel, I had a Clutchmasters Stage 3 clutch with Clutchmasters lightweight flywheel. The Clutchmasters setup was excellent. It was silky smooth with no chatter. The behavior of the flywheel under street driven conditions was absolutely fine. The current Southbend setup is equally smooth and has no chatter. The RPM's do hold a hair longer when shifting. Bottomline, you get used to whatever you have to be honest with you. If you've driven enough manual transmission cars, you get used to whatever you're driving and drive that car appropriately. But a lightweight flywheel is certainly not annoying. The quick revs have their advantages and disadvantages, but for a street car, it won't really matter what you choose. For a drag car, I'd probably stick with a heavier flywheel. But if it's mostly a street car, all the options are fine and you'll get used to whatever you choose.
